The Battle is Won or Lost Before it Ever Begins

In poker there's this concept called 'chasing cards' -- having a mediocre hand and hoping
that somehow the magical cards will just turn up to give you the winning hand. When you're in a position of weakness and chase cards, you lose money. Don't chase women either -- it means
you're already in a weakened position. I've made this mistake myself too many times, however I will never do it again!
